Last week, President Biden signed HR 3182 into law, which bans the sale and manufacture of crib bumper pads and infant inclined sleepers.  Crib bumpers are defined as any material, other than non-padded mesh, which is intended to cover the sides of a crib to prevent injury resulting from impacts at the side of a crib or to prevent access or entrapment in openings of a crib. Inclined sleepers are defined as products with a sleep surface inclined greater than ten degrees intended for children up to one year old. The ban goes into effect on November 14, 2022
