The CPSC has recalled Zipadee Kids convertible house bed frames and Montessori floor beds for entrapment and strangulation hazards. The recall covers beds sold in twin, full and queen-size variations shipped between February 26, 2018, and October 22, 2021. The models are wood floor beds that can be raised or converted to adjust for a growing child’s sleeping needs. At least two children have become entrapped in the bed rails. According to the CPSC, as the firm has filed for dissolution in Ohio, they are unable to offer a remedy to customers. The CPSC urges consumers to dispose of the recalled beds as it violates federal law to resell or donate recalled units.
