The U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) has recalled Oliver & Smith branded 6-inch hybrid mattresses sold in Twin, Twin-XL, Full, Short Full, Queen, Short Queen, King, and California King sizes. Additionally, the CPSC recalled 10-inch and 12-inch Crayan mattresses sold in Twin, Full, Queen and King sizes. The recalled mattresses violate mandatory federal flammability standards for mattresses and pose a fire hazard to consumers.

For the Oliver & Smith mattress recall, the CPSC recommends that consumers stop using the recalled mattresses immediately and contact Agro Superior Group to receive a free fitted cover to put over their mattress to bring it into compliance with federal mattress flammability standards. The firm is contacting all known purchasers directly. The recalled mattresses were manufactured in Colombia and sold online on Amazon.com and Walmart.com.

Meanwhile, the CPSC recommends that consumers stop using the recalled Crayan mattresses and contact Crayan to receive a full refund. Consumers will be instructed to mark the mattress permanently with the word “Recalled” in large font across the white top panel and submit a photo of the marked mattress to Crayan to certify disposal prior to receiving a full refund. The firm is contacting all known purchasers directly. The recalled mattresses were manufactured in Japan and sold exclusively on Amazon.com.
