The U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) has recalled Amazon Basics Premium Foam Eurotop Mattresses sold in twin, full, queen and king sizes sold online at Amazon.com from January 2023 through June 2024. The recalled mattresses violate mandatory federal flammability regulations for mattresses, posing a fire hazard to consumers.  

The CPSC warns consumers to stop using the recalled mattresses and follow Amazon’s instructions for a full refund. Purchasers of the recalled mattresses will be asked to write “Recalled” on the mattress with a permanent marker and submit a photo of the marked mattress to Amazon to receive their refund.
