The U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) has recalled DINBooonLUX 12-Inch Full Size Hybrid Mattresses and Avenco and Novilla mattresses in sizes 6, 10, 12, and 14 inches. The recalled mattresses violate mandatory federal flammability standards for mattresses and pose a fire hazard to consumers.

For the DINBooonLUX recall, the CPSC urges consumers to immediately stop using the recalled mattress and contact DINBooonLUX for a full refund. Consumers should write “Recalled” on the mattress with a permanent marker and email the company a photo of the marked mattress to certify disposal. Consumers will be issued a full refund upon certification of disposal. The recalled mattresses were sold on Amazon.com and manufactured in China.

Meanwhile, the CPSC recommends that consumers immediately stop using the Avenco and Novilla mattresses and contact PT Champion to receive a free fitted cover for their mattress to bring it into compliance with mandatory flammability standards.
