The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced three separate recalls of mattresses sold on Amazon.com that violate the federal mattress flammability standards (16 CFR Part 1632 and 1633) and pose a risk of serious injury or death from fire.

  • Kesyup: About 48,405 units sold for $100 to $200. Manufactured by ZCK01 of China.
  • WinxMatrs: About 792 units sold for about $120. Manufactured by Xinan Home of China.
  • Emerspring: About 263 units sold for about $226. Sold by Style Homeware and produced in Indonesia.

Consumers should stop using the recalled mattresses immediately. For the Kesyup-branded and WinxMatrs mattresses, the CPSC instructs consumers to destroy the mattress by writing “Recalled” in permanent marker and contact the manufacturer for a full refund. For the Emerspring mattresses, consumers should contact Style Homeware [KC1] [MS2] for a free fitted cover that brings the product into compliance with the flammability standards.

All three recalls involve imported mattresses sold through an online marketplace, highlighting CPSC enforcement against online sellers who don’t comply with mandatory product safety standards.
