ISPA Member Information

ISPA annual membership dues are calculated based on your business structure and previous year's wholesale sales volume. Dues operate on a calendar year basis, expiring annually on December 31st. First-year dues are prorated by month; subsequent renewals are for the full 12 months.

Determine your member type:

Review the organization type definitions below, then select the member type option that best describes your business

  • Producer:

    Manufacturers, Assemblers and Direct-to-Consumers of finished sleep products (ie: adjustable bed mattresses, air mattresses, crib mattresses, boxsprings & other foundations, etc.)
    (To qualify, you must demonstrate that manufacturing and assembling finished mattress products account for more than 60% of your total production, with eligibility supported by official documentation.)

  • Supplier:

    Produces mattress components to include: machinery, foam, hard goods, innersprings, textiles, soft goods, chemicals, fibers, and other services such as distributors of components & materials, labs, software/computer services, showroom solutions, etc. for the sleep products industry.

  • Affiliate:

    Owners, executives and management of bedding specialty shops, department stores and furniture stores that sell finished mattresses directly to consumers and does NOT produce finished mattresses.
    (Available to U.S.-based companies ONLY)

  • Sleep Accessories:

    Manufacturer of pillows, sheets, mattress toppers and other top of bed products and does NOT produce finished mattresses.
    (Available to U.S.-based companies ONLY)

  • Supporting Services:

    Marketing and PR firms, consulting services and manufacturing representatives who support the bedding industry (and other services such as recycling facilities and trucking companies who transport bedding related products, but is not a distributor).
    (Available to U.S.-based companies ONLY)

Sales Volume Statement

Your total U.S. bedding volume statement is the sum of the wholesale value of all mattresses and finished sleep products manufactured by your company and its affiliated entities, sold to retailers, institutions, and consumers in the United States.

Include all direct-to-public sales (ie: factory-direct sales) of manufactured sleeping systems (mattresses, boxsprings, foundations, etc.) at their wholesale equivalent value. Exclude sales of purchased finished goods and dual-purpose sleep furniture.

Rate: $43 per $100,000 over $1M

Maximum Dues Cap:
$460MM - $750MM = $200,000
$750MM - $2B = $225,000
> $2B = $250,000

This agreement, effective as of today, outlines my rights and responsibilities as a member, including the payment of dues and adherence to the organization's code of conduct. I understand that my membership may be subject to cancellation for failure to meet these terms or payment obligations.
